Dancing for Dessert Studio was founded in 2005 by long-time dance team Magda and Andrew. From a small trial program it has grown to become the ballroom dancing destination for Langley and the Fraser Valley with a team of seven instructors and hundreds of students served.

We believe that dance is a gift from God and we have a heart to train up dancers who express dance that is pure, radical, joy-filled and meaningful. We are here for you...all ages and stages of dance...to launch you as world changers through dance.

Fraser Valley Academy of Dance, under the artistic direction of John C. Carney, offers superior dance training with specialized focus on classical ballet and musical theatre. The Academy provides students with varied training in classes throughout the year in the Classical Ballet School, Musical Theatre School , Pre-Professional Academy, and Summer Programs. With a teaching staff of former professional dancers, as well as certified teachers with national diplomas in Performing Arts and Teacher Training, the Academy offers students an exceptional opportunity to achieve their highest potential. Since 2013, FVAD students have received over 80 invitations to professional training programs at Canada's National Ballet School, Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Joffrey Ballet School, School of Alberta Ballet, Rambert School of Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance, and Randolph Academy of Performing Arts, as well as many international summer programs.

We at Lisa's School of Dance are a huge 'family'. We are multi generational. It has come full circle now where past students are now bringing their own children in to be a part of such a loving, nurturing, professional environment.
