The Quinte Ballet School of Canada is the fifth largest professional ballet training facility in Canada. Located in Belleville, QBSC is the premiere dance facility in Eastern Ontario and draws students from the local area as well as nationally and internationally. The school is housed in a fully-equipped, 20,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility that features six large studios. Our Professional Training Program (PTP) is designed for aspiring young dancers between the ages of 10 and 20. The program offers innovative training, exposure to the art form and support to become a professional dance artist. The PTP curriculum focuses on building a sound ballet technique, while exposing students to a variety of other dance styles to ensure versatility.
The Dynamic Room is the newest dance school in Sudbury. We provide dance education at a recreational and competitive level, offering classes from ages 3 and up to anyone who is eager to learn and grow. Our unique training methods are sure to promote a healthy, active, and positive lifestyle among aspiring young dancers in order to fulfill their complete potential as athletes and students.
Modern Dance is the technique based on the natural movement of the body and is designed to increase body control and coordination. Routines are set to modern and contemporary music. Students begin class with a centre floor warm-up, followed by across floor combinations such as leaps and turns. Class is ended with a fun routine taught using familiar chart music.
