Welcome to Annemarie's Dance Academy - where friendships are formed. For over 23 years our school has been involved in dance education. We believe that our success comes as a result of providing solid training and quality service, along with an underlying belief in the strength of our organization. We offer careful dance instruction in a creative atmosphere of good humour and mutual respect. Caring about the development of the whole person, we offer more than dance alone. A parent once commented, "Susan doesn't just teach dance...she teaches life."
From Creative Dance for small children to Hip Hop & Bollywood for adults, The Dance Workshop offers non-competitive dance for all ages.
Samantha Brooks - B.F.A. owner/Artistic Director is a professional teacher with an extensive dance background. She has been teaching dance in the GTA for 10 years. Sam is thrilled to be opening her own studio to share her passion and knowledge of dance with her students. She was teaching in York Region and has won numerous awards for her choreography and costumes at various competitions.
Our studio is a bright, newly renovated 1300 square foot space with an inviting parent lounge/viewing area.
There are two large wheelchair accessible men’s and women’s washrooms located directly outside of the entrance to the studio. As well as a single washroom located within the studio for the students.
There is free wifi, and ample parking available.
Our Space is available for rental opportunities, please contact the office for availability.
Providing the Durham region will high quality dance training in ballet, modern dance and creative movement and dance. No competition or recreational classes. Dance as it was meant to be.
