Champions and MotivatorsWhat is in motion? In motion is a provincial strategy to help all Manitobans make physical activity part of their daily lives for health and enjoyment. Our vision is to make adult Manitobans healthier by increasing physical activity in the province to 55% by the year 2015.Most of us already know the importance of active living. Physical activity increases energy, reduces stress and strengthens the heart and lungs. The result is a better quality of life for every age group. Yet less than half of all Manitobans of all ages do enough physical activity to improve their health. What's needed is the motivation to get ourselves and each other 'in motion'. The provincial government has joined with community partners in physical activity, health, healthy living, recreation, sport and education to raise activity levels and reduce barriers to physical activity. In motion has four key components.building partnerships developing strategies for target areasmeasuring successIn motion strategies will focus on five specific groups

We specialize in creating accessible, entertaining productions in non-traditional settings, with a proud history of presenting both new plays, and old plays in new ways. We invest in the works of Shakespeare because, as the world's greatest dramatist, his plays provide the greatest opportunities for theatre artists and audiences alike. Our track record for engaging local artists for each and every production speaks to our belief in the world-class quality of Manitoba's theatre artists, and our commitment to their continued development. Careers Tipping CanoeTipping Canoe was founded in 2006 to help consumers in the UK battle the barrage of advertisements and poor customer service they received every day. Since then we've expanded our reach to foster communities in several territories. Our network of web properties now spans multiple countries and receives over 300 million world-wide visits each year.As our applications and communities have grown, so has our team. The Tipping Canoe staff include programmers, designers, copy editors and content moderators both in Winnipeg and around the world. In the past few years, the web has shifted to mobile devices and we've expanded the boat to include developers for Android and iOS as well.Unlike many web companies, Tipping Canoe is not a fee for service company. The applications we develop are built organically and are self sustaining. This allows us to experiment with new ideas without the 'make the logo bigger' demands of a client driven office.Need a website built for your company?
