Our vision is to make adult Manitobans healthier by increasing physical activity in the province to 55% by the year 2015.Most of us already know the importance of active living. Physical activity increases energy, reduces stress and strengthens the heart and lungs. The result is a better quality of life for every age group. Yet less than half of all Manitobans of all ages do enough physical activity to improve their health. What's needed is the motivation to get ourselves and each other 'in motion'. Annual ReportOur StoryThe Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Inc. was established in 1984 to reclaim Aboriginal peoplés inherent role and responsibility as the caregivers for Aboriginal children and families in Winnipeg.We are a community mandated, Aboriginal directed and supported human service organization, delivering children in care and community based programs and services to Aboriginal families.Today, with over fifty (50) programs, eleven (11) sites, and 200+ staff and volunteers, Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre provides a valued local presence in key neighbourhoods where our community lives.All Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre programs and services are developed and operate within a philosophy that is embodied in the name of the center. The name Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata translates from Ojibway into the phrase 'we all work together to help one another'. These words reflect the vision in the concept of collective responsibility and reciprocity towards helping each other.Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre has invested in a neighbourhood based practice model aimed at identifying innovative policy and practice initiatives to create and sustain family supported neighbourhoods

ICTAM is an industry-focused association representing Manitoba's ICT sector. Our goal is to accelerate the growth, prosperity and sustainability of the industry through relevant programming, advocacy and collaboration. As a not-for-profit, membership based association; ICTAM's constituency is broad-based encompassing vendors, consumers, government, education, chambers of commerce and sector councils. As information and communication technologies are enabling every facet and type of business, ICTAM membership is open to all and fees are structured to be inclusive to any size company. The Centre's Director/Curator programs all exhibitions and related or adjunct events (performances, readings, lectures, projects) with the input of an Advisory Panel. One slot each year is reserved for exhibition proposals brought to the attention of the Director/Curator through the Centre's open submission policy.

What is Shakespeare in the Ruins (SIR) all about?Distilled to its essence, Shakespeare in the Ruins exists to promote and celebrate the unique experience of performing and attending live theatre. We specialize in creating accessible, entertaining productions in non-traditional settings, with a proud history of presenting both new plays, and old plays in new ways. We invest in the works of Shakespeare because, as the world's greatest dramatist, his plays provide the greatest opportunities for theatre artists and audiences alike. Our track record for engaging local artists for each and every production speaks to our belief in the world-class quality of Manitoba's theatre artists, and our commitment to their continued development.
