The aim is to relieve distress by discussing and expressing feelings; to help change attitudes, behaviour and habits that may be unhelpful; and to assist more helpful ways of coping. Generally the difference between psychotherapy and counselling is the amount of time or sessions the individual requires, and the depth of issues he/she may be facing. Psychotherapy may be used to address a mental health diagnosis whereas counselling is geared toward learning how to overcome problems and challenges.

Faith Infant & Early Education Centre was established in 1991 as a part of the Prophetic, Non-Profit Housing Complex. We are a non-profit, charitable, Christian corporation which is guided by a very caring and committed Board of Directors. The Board Members consist of our Centre parents and community members. It is this group of dedicated men and women who review, update and issue new policies for Faith so that the Centre is continually in compliance with all governing bodies. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education on an annual basis.
