He refined his dentistry skill in a residency program at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, where he had extensive trainings in oral surgery, endodontic, prosthodontics and periodontics surgery. As a humanitarian, Dr. Chan was stationed in Xela, Guatemala where he performed oral surgery and fillings to the underprivileged. Dr. Chan is also an accomplished pianist and artist.
