Community Futures Kitayan has begun the process of creating community based websites for all their communities. These websites will create advantages for its members by opening communication gateways and allowing more public presence. These websites will be community shaped and allow its members to connect with other areas of the country.The Community Futures programs are community-based, volunteer driven, economic development organizations, and are independent in their operations. KITAYAN CFDC is a Community Futures program and will accordingly implement its program of services under the guidance of nine Board of Directors, one from each of the following member communities, which make up the service area:Garden Hill First Nation,Manto Sipi Cree Nation,Gods Lake Narrows Community.

The Jubilee Fund Inc. is an ethical investment fund established to raise awareness concerning the interrelated issues of poverty reduction, financial assets and access to credit. The Jubilee Fund provides short term loans to not-for-profit organizations and businesses, (cooperatives and social enterprises) to initiate or complete community based projects that reduce poverty and financial exclusion.
