Primal Cuts is a Peterborough Butcher Shop built around a passion for delicious and ethical food. The shop is a collaboration between a Butcher, George Madill, and our Chef, Luke Gaston, who together strive to provide the best products available. Whether you are looking for a striking Rib-Roast, a Strip Loin for the BBQ, a quick and easy prepared dinner, Hand-Made Sausages, Salads, or Pantry items, we have something to enhance your every meal. We believe in the lost art of 'nose to tail' butchery where no part of the animal should be wasted. We are an old-world butcher shop, the distant long forgotten traditional place where you trusted the guy behind the counter because you knew him and he remembered you. We also believe in sourcing locally, working closely with our farmers, treating our animals humanely and removing chemicals, antibiotics and hormones from the food chain. We believe in meat that’s good and good for you.

I have 24 years’ experience in interior design and offer services for every budget. My strength is in devising creative design solutions for challenging spaces and making them work for homeowners. With full-colour 3D CAD drawings and walk-through animations I show the homeowner exactly how their spaces will look, feel and function once my designs are implemented. My goal is to ensure spaces seamlessly support their users' requirements and lifestyle. Part of the interior design process for many projects can include the preparation of contractor-ready drawing and specifications packages, designed to your budget, and geared toward obtaining contractor quotes. I will take your renovation project from our first meeting forward to obtaining quotes on your behalf, to liaising with the chosen contractor, to project management, and, finally, to ensuring deficiencies are resolved satisfactorily. I also offer decorating services to complement and complete my interior architectural work.
