Contact Guy AnthonySewing started as a hobby. 25 years ago I looked around and saw sewing everywhere. Clothing, upholstery, bags, covers, even structural. I felt an affinity to sewing and design. I come from a family of sewers going back generations. Maybe it's genetic.After graduating from Sheridan College Faculty of Fashion Design and Technology in 1991 I became self-employed as Guy Anthony. I went off to sew my way through life. Sewing is a trade as well as an art form. I try to respect both notions. There is always a technical component and because almost all of my projects are ''one of one'', there is a creative component as well. I have always enjoyed and savored the unbelieveable range of the projects I have turned out. I draw inspiration from my enviroment and especially from other artists.A friend of mine once said, ''I work in the morning because I love my job and work in the afternoon because I need the money.'' I have always been supported by family and friends and by those who have hired me to design and sew.

During your first visit to our home you assured us you could duplicatewhat we had in mind, but in fact, you created something far more beautiful.Quite apart from your craftsmanship, which was second to none, we enjoyed watching you assemble the stone pieces like a jigsaw puzzle , carefully hand selecting each stone as you created our stone structure. The floor to cathedral ceiling stone front is majestic, authentic and sturdily built. It will last a lifetime!Of course we want to thank you for your beautiful stone work, but equally as valuable is your professional attitude, your polite manner, and your commitment to safety. Even other trades who worked on this project commented upon how easily you work with others, and how professionally you conduct yourself Markus.We are beginning to consider further renovations to our home and because you made stone work so accessible we will be in touch to discuss a stone front for the exterior of our home.Many thanks for helping us to achieve our stone fireplace goals!
