Elaine Guitar van Loo and Layne van Loo offer original paintings of still life, landscape, wildlife and nature rendered in a detailed, realistic style. The originals are generally painted in watercolour, acrylic or gouache (opaque watercolour). Other mediums used have included charcoal, coloured pencil, pastel and oils. As a rule the artist chooses a medium that he or she feels best suits the subject matter. We also offer limited edition reproduction prints of some of the originals. The prints are offset lithographs printed on acid free paper or in some editions giclee prints on canvas or rag paper.
