I have tried almost everything on the menu and would like to see something new so now and then. Keep the good work Read more

The Pear Tree Restaurant is a destination outside the mold, bringing together world-class cuisine & downtown elegance with approach-ability and a sense of community. Owned and operated by Scott and Stephanie Jaeger, The Pear Tree Restaurant is the destination whether it be a special occasion, catching up with friends, or a relaxed weekday dinner.
My husband and I have been going to The Pear Tree since we started dating as teenagers, and still head there at least once a year for kid-free date nights. Our lives have changed significantly over the past eighteen years, but the service and quality have remained top-notch. We dine at a lot of incredible restaurants in Vancouver, and the Pear Tree is still one of our favourites. Don't miss the spot prawn cappuccino! Read more

Bistro Wagon Rouge is a blue collar French bistro located in East Vancouver's port district. With playlists compiled by our friends at Red Cat and Zulu , an ever changing 'classics' menu and plenty of features to select from, the vibe here is always fresh. Our menu isn't posted because we often like to switch things up, but you can expect to find greatest hits like cassoulet, terrine, pa^té, duck confit, pork belly, french onion soup and steak frites. We always have fish, veggies and plenty of meat on the menu. Gather around a table with friends for dinner, or pull up a stool for a glass of wine and a small bite at the bar. We do not accept reservations; it's first come, first served
