We also believe that almost every physical ailment has a mental and emotional component that either causes, aggravates or is preventing the body's natural healing process. Our belief and understanding is that "what the mind and spirit harbor - the body will manifest". Curling has a storied history in Red Deer, dating back before the turn of the 20th century. The first curling games in Red Deer were played on the ice of the Red Deer River. Modified jam cans were sometimes used as curling rocks. In 1898, matches were moved to a small outdoor rink on Morrison (52nd) Street. Water hauled from the river was used to flood the ice. In November 1902, the Red Deer Rink Co. Ltd. purchased six lots on which to build a covered skating and curling rink, but construction was not actually commenced until the fall of 1903. The structure, built at an estimated cost of $3,000, provided a skating surface of 175 feet by 60 feet and space on the north side for two sheets of curling ice 175 feet by 36 feet.

The relationship between pet and Guardian can be one of the most rewarding experiences a human can have. When we invite an animal into our family we take full responsibility for their well being. Nurturing this relationship not only enriches your pet's life, but also your own.
Why was Pet Planet created? Because every decision you make for your pet really does matter.
Pet Planet is a family business, founded by a mother and daughter team with a passion for their own pets. They understand the need for a healthy pet and have always gone above and beyond the call of duty for their four legged companions.
The staff is amazing as they are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. After shopping here, I do not buy my dog food or dog treats anywhere else. If they do not have the answer to your questions, they will refer you to someone more knowledgeable or will look it up for you. They truly care about the well-being of my dogs and know them by name. Pet Planet is about the most personal a pet store can be as they keep track of what you buy, ask you how you and your pet are doing. Please do not believe the nasty comment but instead check Pet Planet out for yourself and then decide. Keep up the good work!Read more
