In 1976 when founder Dieter Gerngross opened his shop at the corner of 13th and 3rd in Lethbridge, his goal was simple; to bring in the best brands the worldwide markets had and offer them to the cycle and ski community of Southern Alberta. Over the next 30 years a lot of things changed; the evolution of cycling into the multi faceted world it is today, the rise of snowboarding and shaped skis, and Alpenland?s move to a larger store, allowing more room for a greater selection of products and a full ski and bike service shop. Then in 1996 Dieter sold Alpenland to long time employees Jim and Jerry who?ve continued the commitment to offering the ski and cycling community the best products and service possible.

Green Acres Foundation is a not-for-profit organization and management body established by Ministerial Order by the Province of Alberta to provide affordable supportive housing to seniors of the City of Lethbridge, the County of Lethbridge, and the Towns of Picture Butte, Coaldale, and Coalhurst, as well as the Villages of Nobleford and Barons. We have been providing affordable homes for independent senior citizens in Southern Alberta since 1960; today we are one of the largest providers of seniors housing in the province.

Dejourdan'S Photographics Was Established In 1921 By Pierre Dejourdan. The Business Was Then Passed On To His Son John And Later To John'S Son Patrick. In 2004, Patrick Sold The Studio To Mark Orenstein Who To This Day Is Still The Primary Photographer And Owner Of Dejourdan'S.We Are Proud To Have The Largest Photography Studio Team In Southern Alberta, Offering 2 Photographers And A Full Support Team. We Are Located Inside The Historic Former Paramount Theatre In Downtown Lethbridge.
