Avalon Dairy, one of the oldest established dairy farms in the province, is still located here.In 1890 Collingwood had Vancouver's first streetcars. The fare was a nickel. The line connected Collingwood with New Westminster and Vancouver. Today Collingwood has a modern transit station at Joyce/Collingwood, and you can take Skytrain, bus or car to visit our neighbourhood.
