This is a wonderful place in a true mountain town. If you expect Aspen or Vail food and service, do not bother. But if you want delicious coffee and excellent hearty fare, you will not be disappointed. The village of Field is absolutely historic in the story of train travel through the Canadian Rockies. My car broke down on the side of the road, they stayed open late on a Friday night for me (until 6:20pm) and when my tow truck couldn't get me there until 7:30pm, John and his crew were able to get me a full analysis of my car by 9am the next morning... which was a Saturday despite being fully booked!
They only charged me $100 which was very low, got me in quick so I could make a decision to get on my way. If this store was in Calgary, it's the only spot I would go. You guys are the best!
