The Egan name has been synonymous with professional funeral service for over 9 decades and 4 generations. The present building was converted to a funeral home in 1937 by the Turner family. In 1966 the business was sold to Peter Baxter and Fred Giles. Upon their retirement, after 30 years of faithfully serving this community, they wanted to keep the business family owned and operated. Paul Egan was a logical successor given his reputation in the Bolton area. Pauls sister, Deborah, and her husband, Hal, live above the funeral home and work in the family business. In 2006 Paul welcomed Stephen Elliott to manage the funeral home, bringing with him over 25 years of professional funeral experience. We are involved in the community through our volunteering and involvement in our local churches.
