Les envolées blanches is a family business. Our goal is to offer you a spectacular flight that you will remember forever. A white homing pigeons flight is a show for all occasions: wedding, anniversary, engagement party, fund raising, inauguration, graduation, funerals and even more. Our professionals offer you a punctual, distinguished courteous service. Our birds are trained and they directly go back to their dovecote. All birds are registered and wear a ring. In order to avoid any annoying incident, we do not feed our birds during the 24 hours prior to their flight.
Kelly Funeral Home – Kanata Chapel offers comfortable and spacious visitation rooms. Our chapel seats up to 150 guests, and there is also a lounge for private, intimate gatherings. Kanata Chapel offers ample parking on-site. The building is wheelchair accessible and equipped with a state-of-the-art audiovisual system to ensure that every guest can participate in speeches and take comfort in photos. We are part of the Arbor Memorial family, a Canadian company with a long-standing tradition of exceptional service. Our caring and compassionate staff are active in the community and raise money for local charities every year.

The Alan R. Barker Funeral Home is part of a Carleton Place and area tradition with roots dating back to 1875. In 1875 Jacob Leslie started a funeral business on Bridge Street beside the present day St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The Leslie business was continued by Jacob's son George Leslie in 1892 until its sale to W.H. Matthews in 1919.
Family Ownership continues... In June of 2002, Alistair M. MacDonald and Yves P. Gauthier purchased Munro and Morris Funeral Homes of Alexandria, Maxville and Lancaster. The two Ontario licensed funeral directors had previously worked together for a firm in Cornwall. The mix of Scottish and French heritage made this acquisition a natural partnership for the countries of Glengarry and Stormont. Together with their own families, the MacDonald's and the Gauthier's are committed to providing dignified and affordable funeral service to the families of Glengarry and Stormont. Striving to be leader in our profession and the community, our future will includes the modification and adaptations to our facilities, staff and grounds striving to meet the changing needs of the communities we serve. Munro and Morris, our families, dedicated to the service and needs our your family!
