I have always been interested in martial arts but never figured I could afford to take it up.. A friend of mine suggested that I come to a class at Western Karate Academy where his family studied Shokaido. So I went to watch and within a few minutes I knew this was the place for me. Sensei Doan is very understanding and compassionate about each one of his students...
The students themselves are made to feel a part of a very fine family. When working with each other we learn the most we can to the best of our abilities and it helps us to develop our character within.
