Since its inception in 1989 BANAC has actively developed and delivered a number of initiatives throughout Simcoe County, Muskoka, and northern York Region. Our primary objective is to serve as a regional social health and planning organization functioning as an incubator of ideas in areas where a strong regional voice is needed. Our current initiatives include Aboriginal community development in the areas of child care, health planning, social development, and support to seniors and families.
Our mission is to guide each child in our care to realize his or her aptitudes through social and independent play, and self-directed learning, in a wholistic environment. Rest, nutrition, and positive reinforcement are used in a full but flexible curriculum.
Our vision at Tracey's Place is to create opportunity for every child in any circumstance to reach his or her full potential, to help families grow to be the best that they can be, regardless of age, race, family makeup, economic status, or any other factor.
