The Empress Hotel is the icon of Victoria. For that extra special getaway I would recommend a night at this iconic property, a horse drawn carriage tour and afternoon tea. You can't get more Victorian than that! But seriously, this is a beautiful property (the rooms are a little small) but the history, design & atmosphere make up for the lack of size. Ask about the haunted stories!

The Beacon Drive in is a trip back in time. This drive in diner (you can't drive in anymore) is one of Victoria's best hidden secret. Located in James Bay across from Beacon Hill Park this diner serves up the best soft ice cream in Victoria & the burgers are so greasy & delicious! I wanted to give a shout out to the amazing staff at the Victoria Location. I had to come in on Labour Day to get a new Battery for my Car. I don't know how to install Batteries myself and one of the men workers was so amazing and installed the battery for me. I know staff usually don't do this but He was so kind to do this on Labour Day as they were not too busy due to the holiday. He help a girl in need. Because of him I was able to take back my evening client and work for three hours.
