The Semko family owned this rolling wheat field, and the terrain was so suited for a golf course that they could envision each hole. They began planting trees and irrigating, and in 1979, Greenbryre Golf & Country Club was born. It quickly gained exposure by hosting a celebrity golf challenge in 1980 that brought Gordie Howe, Jan Stephenson and Wayne Gretzky to Saskatoon.
Framed by the picturesque traffic bridge on the south and the walking bridge on the north, the panoramic view of the south saskatchevan river is the setting for the outlook.
