Its landscape is made up of rich agricultural soil as well as prairie grassland in the south, Precambrian Shield rock structures, lakes and forests to the east and north, which eventually give way to the arctic coastline and tundra in the extreme north. Just 104 kilometres north of the US border, we find the capital city of Winnipeg, a city of approximately 730,000 people with a rich history based on the early explorers, periods of high immigration and a cultural diversity that makes it truly a unique place to visit. It is indeed one of the friendliest places on earth.
