The sisters work well together and will help you out the best they can. Mary is great at calling you back if you have to leave a message. Dwaine and Lori Lloyd are extremely compassionate. When our Mother passed away Dwaine was a true caring professional at all time. He attended our reception afterwards as well and his presence among the family was so appreciated. We will use Haliburton Community Funeral Home to make our own arrangements.

The Kawartha dairy ice cream & milkshakes are delicious and not over priced. When you line up make sure you look at the big board so that you can tell the cashier what flavour you'd like.
We ordered a pizza one night and brought it back to the boat, it was hot & delicious and you could tell that they make their own dough, we've only had bad food experiences in Fenelon Falls so it was nice to actually enjoy a meal. Looks like when we are docked in Fenelon we'll be eating pizza. The only thing that I thought was a bit tacky was when I ordered my vegetarian pizza because it was later in the evening the owner tried to get me to buy his old dried up pizza instead of the fresh one I ordered. Given the fact that I ordered vegetarian why would he suggest I take the meat pizza slices? Not a big deal, just thought it was a little cheeky.

After a rather miserable rainy night in our tent at Baksam Lake PP, and another wet night in the forecast, we decided we needed to tarp the tent...unfortunately it was after 6pm and everything in town was already closed. I took a chance and called Buck and Up and to my surprise, someone answered. I explained the situation and the lovely lady on the phone month used and offered to stay late god us to come purchase a tarp,rope and stakes!! We got there as quickly as we could and thankfully got what we needed to stay dry that night! We kept that wonderful lady a half hour past closing time and can't thsnk get enough for being so kind!!!

During the summer of 1977, a dream came true on the shores of Cameron Lake in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes area of Ontario Canada.Through God's provision, the board of our existing Bible College and summer Bible Camp joined forces to establish a joint home here in Fenelon Falls at what is now Shiloh Christian Centre.The first family to reside on this property was Rev. Winston and Joan Cross and their five children. Having moved from eastern Ontario to Lindsay two years prior, this would be the property that the Cross family would call home. Soon to follow were the students and live-in faculty of the Eastern Canadian Apostolic Bible Institute, started three years prior in Lindsay.
