With the new owners the coffee beverages have drastically declined in flavour, though I'm sure they'll improve soon enough. The service is okay and there's always a band playing in the evening through the summer.

Like many places in Harrison, Kitami suffers from staffing problems, and so the owner often works the entire room by herself, with a bit of help from kitchen staff who come out when she is overwhelmed. If you can take a chance on timing, though, it is well worth the wait.
Their sushi is excellent, both in quality and variety. The cooked foods are also very good. We love the sweet potato tempura. Quantities are good and prices not too bad, so this is good value.Read more
