These are the commitments that the Delta Hospice Society makes to people and their families experiencing the diagnosis of cancer or other life-threatening illness, end-of-life and loss following a death.

The Home Hospice Visiting Program offers trained volunteers to support and companion the dying person and their family, perhaps enabling their caregivers to have a break. A number of these volunteers are qualified to offer healing touch if requested. VHS partners with Vancouver Coastal Health to provide this program.

The Surrey Hospice Society has been supporting our community for 25 years. As a volunteer based, non-profit organization rooted in the Surrey community and branching out to those in need, we provide social, emotional, and spiritual support for individuals and their loved ones as they face a life-ending experience. We provide ongoing grief support programs for children, teens and adults.

August 19, 2014On Sept 24th we are hosting a Business after Business through the South Surrey /White Rock Chamber of Commerce to assist businesses support their staff as they experience the impact of an aging workforce. Some of the issues that businesses may experience include: higher absenteeism, loss of productivity, or the need to provide information to their employees about the community services that can assist them.
