He has been working as Director of Photography since 2001, and has shot for high profile international clients such as L'oreal, Levi's, Sony, Pepsi, Toyota, Hyundai, Etihad Airways, Panasonic, Samsung and many more. He has shot on all five continents for agencies from Australia, Asia, USA and Europe. Frank's wide range of interest reflects in his work, embracing various genres and formats. His approach to each project is straight forward: 'Find out from the Director what he wants, find out from the Producer what framework you have in terms of schedule and budget. With this information I start to prioritise. The reality is that different jobs do have different priorities. When budget and schedule are generous you have a large palette to choose from when it comes to executing the job. The palette shrinks when the job is lean. That does not necessarily mean you have to compromise the creative outcome. I look back at some jobs that only left room for a simple approach and in the end the creative outcome was the best for the given script.
Chesterfield Inlet has been permanently settled since 1910, making it one of the oldest of the modern Inuit settlements in the Arctic. Long before that, the inlet on Fish Bay was a popular place to camp. Visitors will find ancient Thule sites nearby where ancient Thule tent rings and animal traps still stand today. Inuit still travel to this area each year to hunt and fish. You can learn about the community by hiking the Chesterfield Inlet Historic Trail.

Information within this website relates to the non-treaty community unless otherwise noted. The community of Norway House is located on the east channel of the Nelson River, approximately 29 kms North of Lake Winnipeg. Large areas are marshy and there are many small creeks, streams and rivers. Several small lakes lie in the nearby area, and much of the water-ways are dotted with Islands.Commercial fishing is conducted throughout the year.
