The ultimate Prince Edward County accommodation. Dating back to the late 1800s and renowned for its playful character and triple gabled tower, Merrill House is something to behold. It's one of the best-known houses in Prince Edward County and features 14 individually designed rooms and suites set in different time periods and places. This is one of the most interesting and memorable boutique hotel experiences around. Modern meets memorable here with French cuisine, fine art and antiques, conservatory bar, sauna, balconies, and even a virtual reality lounge! It's also a hop, skip, and jump away from downtown Picton.
I hadn't been to the Waring House in some time, even though I had always liked the place. However, there was a special event in the County, and the Waring House had a special menu. Everything I ordered was excellent, and the service was extremely swift and courteous. The atmosphere here is also nice. There is only one restaurant in the County ahead of it, but I will leave it to you to discover what that is.Read more

This quaint historic inn and spa is a great place to dine in Prince Edward County. I have visted this inn a few times to dine over the last few years. However, we recently went for an evening out two weeks ago. The atmosphere is usually quiet and intimate (i.e. don't bring the kids) and the service friendly.
The selection on the menu wasn't bad with many meat, chicken and fish options...although there was not a steak entree. The food was good, although not "to die for" as it was when the previous chef was there. Although, it was still tasty and creative.
Very nice wine selection with some fabulous local choices.Read more
