Short term and longer term services are available depending on your needs and problems. Sessions are typically weekly or bi-weekly to start and usually 60 minutes long (including any required paperwork). Together we decide the best course and plan for you. My approach is collaborative and draws from various theories of practice to allow me to better meet your counselling therapy needs, including Client-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural, Solution Focused, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, Relational Cultural, Narrative, & Mindfulness Practice.

Hazel Trego created Pacifica Counselling and Consulting Services in 1992, after completing an M.A. In Counselling Psychology with the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Hazel belongs to the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors, adheres to their standards of practice and ethical guidelines and has completed advanced training in EMDR. Pacifica Counselling and Consulting Services has contracted to provide clinical supervision, training for teachers, agency staff, and foster parents on the effects of trauma and attachment disorder, ethics, and social responsibility.
