Max is our Dog & of course we believed that no one can take care of our baby like us until we found Coldstream Country Side Kennels. We would never go any where overnight because we didn't want to leave Max somewhere we didn't know how he would be treated. We have taken Max to Coldstream Country Side Kennels 3x this summer & this is the ONLY place we would take him. We drive over 1/2 hr just to take him there. They are a young couple on a farm who are very friendly, the facilities are incredibly clean, he always comes home clean (bathed) and we know that he is taken care of as if he is their own. THAT SAYS IT ALL RIGHT THERE...he gets taken for the odd walk, let out to play with other dogs which is huge for us as Max is an only child (dog). They provide EXCELLENT service and we would suggest Coldstream Country Side Kennels to anyone.

Hillside Kennels is owned and operated by Tracey Gibson & Maddy Riddell they have been running Hillside for over 8 years now since purchasing the business from the previous owners. Tracey & Maddy are long-time residents of Oxford County who are experienced & compassionate about the work we do. Our Intention is to provide excellent care for ALL lost, abandoned and injured animals. We work with MANY Rescues in Ontario and beyond to find homes for the animals that do not get claimed. No matter when the request comes in for our assistance weather its 10 am, 6pm or 3 am we respond. Hillside Kennels responds to all City And Provincial Police Requests , many of these requests are often due to emergency's such as Car crash , house fires, Sick & Injured wildlife.
Hillside Kennels Animal Control is owned and operated by Tracey Gibson and Maddy Riddell. We have been running Hillside for over 10 years now, since purchasing the business from the previous owners.
We provide Animal Control services to 13 municipalities in Oxford County, Brant County, Norfolk County as well as North Dumfries Township, Bayham Township, Wellesley Township and Thames Centre. We pick up Stray dogs in all our Townships and stray cats in Tillsonburg and Woodstock. sick and injured cats in Ingersoll, and all sick and injured animals in Brant County.
we are not a rescue although we try to help where we can , when we can. We have rescued dogs from a Northern reserve that had a 'shoot to kill' policy.
We do provide services during the day, and respond at night if the animal is injured or sick or someone simply cannot keep it over night. We work with many rescues to ensure that the cats and dogs are adopted to good loving homes.
