Taz Basement was originally established in 1995 by two men with a vision, Louis Buttino & Vince Marchese. Their vision was to open a retail store in the heart of Fashion District (Chabanel, Montreal) where the general public would be able to find top brand names at discounted retail prices. Taz was originally 400 sq/ft selling a small number of brands at discounted prices, shortly after that, they began venturing into the denim business by retailing recycled Levis jeans. Before they knew it, Taz Basement expanded its variety and retail space to 11 000 sq/ft carrying over 80 recognized brands.Simply put: Top Brands at the lowest prices!
