My wife and I used to love strolling the city and ending up at the Irish Heather for a pint (or three) and some fantastic authentic pub fare. This was in their original location. Then, we had a family and it took us a while to get back but we finally got back to check out their new digs and new menu. While the beer selection is still fantastic we were disappointed in the overall vibe. The food was still good but the value took a bit of a hit from their original location. While it was a great experience overall we still miss the original.

Our Community Bikes in Vancouver is Canada’s oldest non-profit community bike shop, since 1993, offering accessible work stands to the public for bike repair education and tool rental.
We are also a full service bike shop, in addition to being a DIY education facility. We offer a wide selection of repairs and tune-up packages. We do free in-shop assessments and discuss with our clients their needs, to balance a repair and financial abilities.
