Lynn Philip Hodgson at Hastings Civic CentreFriday, The Friends of Hastings Library and the Hastings Historical Society invite you to an evening with Lynn Philip Hodgson. Lynn is the author of 'Inside Camp X' the top secret World War II Secret Agent Training School on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Discover the story of this mysterious camp and its contribution to the Allied war effort. No admission fee - free will donation. Refreshments will be served.

Roseneath School is a small primary school nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Point Jerningham - Roseneath, above Oriental Parade. Magnificent 270 degree views of Wellington Harbour make its location unique. The sea has significantly influenced the school in the naming of classrooms like: Upper Bridge, Lower Bridge, Lower Deck, Aft, and Upper Deck. Located right on the point and next door to the local church at the top of Maida Vale Road. The central location also means easy access to city resources - Te Papa, Wellington Library, Theaters, and Port Facilities.
Addington Highlands Public LibraryLibrary services in Flinton and Denbigh expand to offer fax service. Both branches are now fully accessible thanks to grant from the Ontario Trillium FoundationThanks to funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation of $13,600 over 12 months, both Flinton and Denbigh Library now offer fax service. The grant has enabled the Township to purchase new print/copy/scan and fax machines for each location, a service not readily available in the area.
