We love Nova Scotia’s South Shore and aim to ensure that our guests have the best time possible in our beautiful region. On the South Shore of Nova Scotia, overlooking Port Mouton Bay, our spacious, modern cottages are waiting to help make your vacation dreams come true - any time of the year. Whether you are looking forward to a relaxing interlude or a maritime adventure vacation, the comfort, convenience, and great location of the cottages will enhance your experience.Port Mouton Bay Cottages are only ten minutes from the Liverpool Golf and Country Club; five minutes from Summerville Beach Provincial Park or the white sand of Carters Beach; fifteen minutes from Kejimkujik National Park (Seaside Adjunct); fifteen minutes from the Thomas Raddall Provincial Park; twenty minutes from the town of Liverpool; and about forty minutes from the historic town of Shelburne.
When we built the cottages, our goal was to ensure that our guests had all the comforts of home while enjoying the natural beauty of our ocean shores. The key for us was to create all this and to keep it affordable for middle-class families.We have rented a lot of cottages, vacation villas, cabins, and apartments while traveling in Canada with our three children, so when we built our rental cottages our goal was to make them family friendly with amenities such as a fenced in playground, gated decks, washer & dryer in each cottage, a staircase to private sandy beach, and more.
Welcome to Riverview CottagesStep back in time and enjoy a relaxing, old fashioned vacation in our 18 authentic cottages ,(situated on just over 12 acres in a quiet riverside setting) were built between the late 1930's and the 1950's, and maintain much of their original charm. All cabins are fully furnished with bathroom, some come equipped with a kitchenette and many have either electric heat or woodstoves. Can accommodate 16 persons , all cottages non smoking , Pet friendly. Activities on site include lawn games, a children's play area and use of canoes. We are located 1.5 km East of downtown Parrsboro (overlooking the Aboiteau River), Nova Scotia, Canada on the Glooscap Trail so are close to all the town's amenities, including shops, restaurants, golf course, the Fundy Geological Museum, the Ship's Company Theatre as well as the world's highest tides and miles of beaches renowned for their rock and fossil finds.
