PK Metal Works Ltd., offers a complete metal processing service for our entire customer base. We shear and form many structural components as well as architectural steel; from stair pans to angles, cones to enclosure guards and conveyor troughing. ?PK Metal Works Ltd. also forms many pipe line components such as doubler plates, eccentric reducers, concentric reducers, Tee's and "Ys". With our 32' x 8' CNC Plasma/OxyPropane burning table, we are able to design and layout various shapes in mild steel and stainless steel for forming. With our 250 ton brakes we are able to form up to ½" x 96". PK Metal Works Ltd. also forms a wide variety of conveyor troughing and components for many industries and is capable of shearing 3/8" x 120" 44W plate. We have formed truck boxes and trays to ft specific needs.

Claude Gobin began his career in the reinforcing steel business in 1950. He worked for several companies and ran many major projects throughout British Columbia. In 1970 he formed Heritage Steel Ltd., a rebar installation (placing) company. Claude was well known and liked by many customers and as a result this company contracted many small and medium sized projects throughout the lower mainland. In 1983 he invited his son Martin into the business and it was at this time they realized there was a niche to be filled in the fabrication side of the industry. After setting up a small fabrication facility in the back yard of their home they quickly realized they could fill that niche. It didn't take long for the new Heritage Steel Sales Ltd. to outgrow the backyard so they moved to an industrial area in Port Kells.

In 2008 Sonny’s Welding began as a self-managed and operated business based out of the Lower Mainland. Today, Sonny’s Welding has expanded across Western Canada establishing itself as a respected business in the welding community. It’s members are passionate about what they do and their work reflects this.
