After a lot of hard work and encouragement from the Secretary of State and the Aboriginal community, the Letters Patent were issued on June 19, 1973. In the event that hospitalization is required, the HPS team continues in the treatment delivery through formal links with St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Centre for Mountain Health Services.
