The Jamia Islamia Canada is dedicated to the cause of Islam in North America through striving to the image of Islam and Muslims by providing the authentic information about Islamic beliefs, history and culture. The Jamia Islamia Canada (J.I.C) was established in Mississauga, Canada in 1992. It is a Non-Profit organization registered in the province of Ontario.
Central Mosque is nationally known for reference and advocacy of Muslims and Islamic Issues. The mosque's congregation and staff have been the subject of numerous television and news features in recent years. Much of the media focuses on the mosque's involvement in national and international human rights and political issues as well as the mosque's inter-faith alliances.
The food bank at Malton Islamic Centre collects non perishable items and donations. Malton Islamic Centre provides a warm meal to 200 needy individuals every second Sunday of the month. This program is done in conjunction with the Muslim Students Association of U of T and York University. The Malton Islamic Center offers Islamic classes for children between the ages of 5 – 17 every Sunday between 11am and 2.00pm
The Bosnian Islamic Association Gazi Husrev-Beg (BIAGH) was founded in November 1977 under the name 'Association of Islamic Community Gazi Husrev-Beg'. It's been operating under its current name (BIAGH) ever since 1995. Primary reason of its foundation was to respond to the religious needs of its members. That was made possible through a full time Imam, who has been serving this community uninterruptedly since June 1982. The BIAGH caters to the needs of Bosniaks that pertain to Bosniak tradition, folklore, sport and different creative workshops.
