My StoryIn 1997, while organizing the BC Games for Athletes with a Disability, I had the misfortune of being rear-ended, at a high speed, while exiting the highway. This began an on again, off again 2 year rehabilitation program at Fraser Valley Orthopedics & Sports Therapy. And although rehab was beneficial, I ended up with a permanent low back injury to L3, L4, L5 and the Sacroiliac Joint and a not so healthy 180 pounds.

Saar Bank Farms is located in a tranquil area of Sumas Prairie, seemingly a world away from all the hustle and bustle of BC’s fifth largest and expanding city of Abbotsford. The Vanderlinde family has farmed this property since 1960. Our family farm has been dedicated to promoting quality farm fresh products ever since. Our CSA program which we started in 2013, aims to provide you with fresh locally grown in-season produce, herbs, fruit, and flowers grown in a sustainable manner. Along with our garden we are raising cashmere goats which are wonderful animals. They love to interact with people as they graze on our large open pastures.
