The Museum offers an insight into life at a boarding school in the 19th and 20th century and gives an overview of the regional way of life. Its Chapel has been recognized as an architectural gem.

Located in a former jail built in 1842, visitors will find exhibits in the basement museum revealing the jail's history and the role of DNA in solving crimes. Science East's hands-on exhibits are designed to inspire wonder and creative thinking in people of all ages. During the summer months, experience daily science shows at 11am and 2pm and explore Atlantic Canada only outdoor science playground. Group rates are available for schools and community groups.
