Welcome to Riffmakers Music! With 15 years of experience in music-making and 7 years of teaching, we’re here to help you with all your music needs. Whether you’re picking up a guitar, piano, ukulele, or bass, our music lessons are tailored to all skill levels and genres. Join us for jam sessions, we also take custom commissions, like transcriptions, arrangements, and mixing & mastering. We also craft custom and original music and offer in-depth music theory lessons. With over 15 years as arts instructors, we’re excited to support and inspire your musical journey!
With nearly 40 members, the Acton Citizens' Band is both a concert band as well as a marching band. The musical selections range from marches to spirituals to musicals to theme songs. The band specializes in providing entertainment for community affairs such as the Acton Fall Fair, Remembrance Day service, Christmas parades and concerts, the Firemen's Canada Day Fireworks, and the Leathertown Festival.

Jan is just as smooth and, like Holgate, has a knack for letting the notes dance around the tune without ever getting carried away.''Our music is well suited for most special occasions like weddings & anniversaries, corporate parties & concerts. We are just as happy to play quiet dinner music as we are performing a concert. We occasionally include fellow musicians for events requiring a larger band.
