During the 54th legislature, he was a member of the standing committees on public accounts, law amendments and legislative administration.He was re-elected in the June 9, 2003, provincial election. He chaired the Select Committee on Wood Supply and served on the Select Committee on Public Automobile Insurance. He was a member of the following standing committees: public accounts, private bills, Crown corporations, procedure, law amendments and the ombudsman.
The Canadian Métis Council - Intertribal (CMC-IT) is dedicated to the concerns of the Métis people regarding culture, harvesting rights, education, health, youth, justice and other related issues. CMC-IT is also dedicated to the promotion of Métis culture and history. CMC-IT also encourages involvement of our members with other political and cultural organizations.
Governed by a Board of Directors, the Canadian Métis Council - IT is a non-profit corporation concerned with cultural issues, harvesting rights, education, health, youth, justice and other related issues that directly effect the Métis people of North America.
