The purpose of the Highland Housing Co-operative, Ltd. (HHC) is to provide affordable housing for small families and individuals in Antigonish, NS. The co-op has 79 units at two locations: St. Ninian St. and Arbor Drive. Most of the units are two-bedroom; only five of the 79 units are one-bedroom. Founded in 1982, it is one of the largest co-ops in Nova Scotia.

Built in 1996, located in Petit-de-Grat on Isle Madame, with sea views, La Picasse is the new multidisciplinary center.
