Construction of the first permanent Catholic church in Baie-Comeau, Ste Amelie, have started in 1937 and were completed during World War II church. ''The most beautiful church in the North Shore'' faithful will welcome its first since 1939 to celebrate their first Masses. The Church of St. Amelia is named in honor of the wife of Colonel Robert McCormick founder of the city of Baie-Comeau and sponsor of the work for the construction of the church. Sainte-Amélie also embodies the patron saint of fishermen and farmers.
All of our activities in recent years has been guided by a desire to optimize the performance of waste management in the territory of the Manicouagan. We have been actively working in the spirit of providing exemplary service and Manicois Manicoises; the satisfaction of our customers is the cornerstone of our decisions.For the implementation of complex integrated waste management, we were able to do more and better for our fellow citizens. We have a single point of valuation which we can be proud of. This project does not happen without challenges and there is still to do, but today we can say that we have results.
These cells are designed to bring us closer to each other , to help us practice the commandments of God to each other , multiply leaders and use of spiritual gifts. The time of these cells will be divided between praise , sharing , discussion around a good Christian book and prayer. We intercede that God would raise up cells around the North Shore.
