The history of Minoas Taverna began 35 years ago when the Chronakis family emigrated from Greece and began new roots in British Columbia. With a growing family and an ambitious dream, they wanted their first home to be alive with their Greek ancestry. After long months of planning and remodeling, their home became Minoas Taverna! Since opening Minoas Taverna on May 1st,1986, the family owned and operated restaurant is complete with authentic Greek dishes, beautiful private rooms, and traditional yet unique atmosphere surrounded with Minoan art, Greek folk music, and Mediteranean plant life, The Chronakis family offer not only delicious food but a dining experience you will never forget!
