I completed my Design and Drafting program in Nova Scotia in 1997. After school I went to work for a commercial construction company, where I spent several years learning the ins and outs of construction as a skilled labourer & contract administrator. From there, I moved to Calgary and spent the next 7+ years in various roles, such as: Draftsperson/Project Estimator, Construction Manager, and Lead Hand Installer. I made the switch back into the office as a designer in 2004. Here I spent 4+ years with a reputable architectural design firm where my knowledge of the design world really flourished. From there, I felt confident branching out on my own; which brings us to today.
