Art junction is an inspiring, Canadian contemporary art gallery based in Whistler BC. Nestled amongst the beautiful Coastal Mountains, you will find many wonderful pieces of art created by over forty B.C. based artists. To complement the gallery we also offer a full custom framing service at our on-site studio.

Our new facility in Function Junction currently has six stylists, a dedicated colourist, and an esthetician. Good Hair Day has rapidly expanded since its opening in 2003 to offer full salon and spa services. Our friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced staff - coupled with our relaxed and casual atmosphere - has won the salon many accolades, including Pique Newsmagazine's coveted Best of Whistler award for Best Hair Salon five years running. Additionally, three of our stylists have received the Best Hairstylist award, some several years running.

Klein, our founder and master craftsman, grew up in Vienna, Austria, learning his trade in the fur industry at the age of 14. Coming to Canada in 1956 he launched Capilano Taxidermy. Hand sewing when the competition used hot glue, hand painted glass eyes imported from overseas instead of generic glass eyes and even touring the continent in search of new techniques and materials are just a few the examples setting his company apart. Quality Workmanship, Dependability and Service, these are the old fashioned work ethics he began Capilano Taxidermy with., Mr. Klein is an avid hunter who has trekked across the world with safaris in North America, Europe and Africa. He became displeased with the quality of workmanship that other taxidermy shops had to offer and finally opened a studio of his own to deliver the finest workmanship and quality to all his clients. To this day, our philosophy remains the same in treating all of our clients' trophies as if they were our own.
