Huge poutine. Chalkboard on the wall. Late closing time (even on Sun). This poutine is rhe best. Just coming in from a 35km bike ride and it certainly hit the spot. And they don't skimp on the bacon. :P

I love beer and I love a long list of options recited to me by memory... there seem to be so many negative reviews about the Bier Markt but... it's a pub, really, and a spacious, respectable one with Great Beer at that. I was at the Esplanade location last Friday afternoon around 4pm with my husband and some friends and we had a fantastic time drinking pints of Steigl, Erdinger weissbrau, Jupiler, and sharing fondue--wish there was a ski hill nearby. I've been here often, mainly for the beer, but last Friday the atmosphere was great, really quiet and just right for a late lunch. I wish the decor was a little cozier inside.

Had a walnut tart that was simply delicious at the ribfest. Only wanted a portion as I have been dieting so bought one small. When I ate it later at home I was so happy I only bought one as I would have at the whole six it was so good. Thank Mr.WALL

I come here all the time with my friends. One of my friends came up to me one day before lunch and said "Do you wanna go to Montreal Fries with me? I've never been, and I really wanna go." I said "Of course". So me, her, and another one of our friends go down there for lunch. They really liked it. Me and the owner, Wes, we're good friends, so we often chat about his business.
