This restaurant location has undergone many incarnations. Some good, some very good,and some really not good. Under the current owners, the food is very good. There are two versions of Hot and Sour soup, one is the "traditional" one and the other a seafood one. I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood version. The shrimp are fresh and just nicely done. The Black Pepper Beef with Crispy Greens was delectable and beautifully presented. Service was excellent and engaging. Other interesting menu itemTry it!

My husband and I went for lunch on a Wednesday.
There were quite a few customers enjoying their meal.
The 1/4 chicken dinner was delicious. Home made fries (not frozen), a fresh Italian style roll, and Swiss Chalet dipping sauce., and of course, the rotisserie chicken. Good Canadian food at it’s best! Not too spicy, with lots of flavour. Very satisfying.
And did I mention the friendly service? The owner even came to our table to ensure we were well taken care of. Halibut is also excellent.!
