The meal was plain jane, for the price i expected alittle more flare. The restaurant was empty which tells me a story in itself. The meal was skimpy, it was served on a large plate with the small steak which was chewy, a few carrots, and 2 roasted potatoes off to the side, which made the plate look empty. the soup (which was extra, and cost $5) was in the smallest bowl i have ever seen and only half full, the same with the creme boule. I must say though that the caesar salad was delicious, and the coffee was very good. It had been 10 yrs since my last visit because of poor food and i dont think i will try it again, in the near future.

Dim sum at the Canton doesn't disappoint. It's always fresh, authentic, and delicious as it should be. My only issue is with the service, which is inconsistent depending on who is serving. The hired staff is preferred over the owners, as they are more friendly and patient with customers. The owner isn't unpleasant per se, but just a little too involved and expectant. Love the restaurant overall, either for dimsum or an authentic Chinese dinner item. The service fades into the background with food that good!

We were all totally impressed with the food. We have dined here 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months and all times were very impressed.
Their fish and chips is amazing...best fried fish I have ever tasted...not greasy at all, the batter was unique to what I've ever experienced before and absolutely delicious.
Salads are excellent and portions for all food is large. Excellent value for the meal portions and taste of the food.
Atmosphere is very relaxing - casual dress. The wait staff are competent and pleasant.
We look forward to going back again and again, as we've never been disappointed.

Dint have the sushi had a Bowl noodle bowl i think and it was awesome so was the service sat at the bar,counter seats and chatted up the owner,chef,bar tender ? I had a great experience !
