Welcome Located in Schomberg, Ontario, the Schomberg Co-operative Nursery School is a non-profit organization that provides children the opportunity to learn through interactive and independent play. The Schomberg Co-operative Nursery School environment is warm, inviting and open to all children between the ages of 2 and 5 years of age. The Nursery School is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, which consists members of the community and parental volunteers. A non-profit organization offering school-based childcare for children ages 2-12, Best Friends Learning Centre of Windsor Inc is a licensed daycare by the Ontario Ministry of Education, servicing Windsor and the surrounding area since 1983. As Registered Early Childhood Educators, we provide year-round, full-day and half-day programs for preschoolers, kindergarteners and school-age groups, as well as before and after-school care in a safe setting.

Our program is developed for and available to 2 to 5 year olds. With qualified E.C.E.s and the participation of parents, we are able to provide a fun atmosphere that encourages creativity, warmth, and enthusiasm. Children do NOT have to be toilet trained to attend.Our teachers offer activities that develop self-esteem, confidence, sharing, and problem-solving skills, and maintain a continual 1:6 adult / child ratio, or better. Activities, play centres, story time, and crafts focus around carefully selected themes, including farms, dinosaurs, numbers, colours, shapes, nutrition and special holidays.
